We're looking for people who can make a difference because we believe that an innovative oriented team can accomplish anything!The Parts Back Counterperson is responsible for obtaining parts and accessories for both the mechanical shop and retail customers. This individual must maintain the Parts Department in a clean and orderly manner. The Parts Counterperson will assist with inventory ordering, stocking and control.Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Promptly meet and assist both the technician and the retail guest in a friendly and courteous manner.
Obtain the correct parts and accessories for both the technician and the retail guest in a timely manner.
Accurately price parts and accessories using the proper pricing source and transfer the information to the proper document and computer system.
Answer telephone calls promptly, courteously, and make every effort to satisfy the caller’s inquiry.
Stock incoming inventory in the correct location.
Maintain the parts department in clean and orderly manner.This is a physically demanding position. Individual sill be required to move throughout the parts shelves all day, reaching and climbing to obtain parts from inventory. Will stand six to eight hours during a shift at the customer counter. Must be able to lift seventy five pounds and climb at least two flights of stairs. REQUIREMENTS
Required Experience: Ideal candidate will have:
Experience in a retail or wholesale parts department.
Good comprehension of parts manuals.
Good communication skills.
Mechanical aptitude.
Completion of parts seminars that include selling skills, telephone skills, stocking and inventory control.Required Education:
