Part Time Car Sales Title Clerk

The following position is available at our Hertz Car Sales Hayward, CA location:

CAR SALES TITLE CLERK PART TIME 20 HOURS - $15.00/hour

This is a part time position with benefits. This position reports to the manager of the Hayward & South San Francisco Car Sales locations. The clerk will be based in Hayward but will be required to work at least one day at the South San Francisco location. The clerk will also support the area management staff with various administrative and light accounting work.

Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

- Process weekly payroll
- Order and control office supplies
- Assist with recruitment efforts (pre-screening candidates, reviewing resumes etc)
- Answer phones
- Reconcile ledgers and logs
- Process and maintain all car sales files and transactions
- Order and manage vehicle titles
- Perform clerical functions as required such as typing correspondence & filing.
- Provide overall general clerical support
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:

- Strong PC skills (Microsoft Word & Excel)
- At least 2 solid years of previous administrative experience
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Some basic accounting knowledge/ experience.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, strong attention to detail
- Self-starter and able to work independent of direct and constant supervision
-Demonstrated ability to handle highly confidential data
- Previous industry experience preferred, but not required
