Outside Automotive Advertising Sales Representative

The San Jose Mercury News, the newspaper of Silicon Valley, is seeking an Outside Sales professional to join our Automotive team in Classified Advertising. In this role, you will be responsible for account management and new business development in the Automotive category for the San Jose Mercury News. You will work hand-in-hand with local auto dealers to generate advertising and marketing campaigns that fit their business needs. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with the drive and initiative to succeed.
REQUIREMENTS
2-3 years outside sales experience and excellent presentation and written and verbal communication skills are required. Knowledge of the retail auto industry, a 4-year college degree in Advertising or Marketing and media sales experience a plus.
