Category: Mechanic-A,Mechanic-BDepartment: MaintenanceJob Level: ExperiencedCompensation: To Be Discussed at InterviewTravel Involved: NoneJob Description: Perform preventative maintenance, diagnosis, service and repair of steering, suspension, brakes, tires and minor repair and diagnosis of engines, transmissions, differentials, electrical, wheelchair lifts, and air conditioning systems. Must be able to perform part analysis on damaged parts. Keep shop facility clean. Assist in inventory control and other duties as they apply.Must be willing to work nights and/or weekends if necessary.
REQUIREMENTS
Education: Technical/Specialized TrainingJob Requirements: Must have a minimum of 2 years experience of automotive/diesel repair and or a combination of training and experience OR Graduated an automotive technology course at an accredited trade school or college and have 1 year of experience with ASE or other comparable certifications
Must have, or be able to obtain within 9 months of employment, ASE or other comparable certification in Preventive Maintenance for Medium/Heavy Duty Trucks required
Must have, or be able to obtain within 24 months of employment, a total of four (including the prerequisite preventive maintenance) ASE Medium Duty Truck or other comparable certifications in air brakes, air conditioning, suspension/steering systems
Must have or be able to obtain a class B CDL within 90 days of employment
