Mechanic

American Medical Response (AMR) is seeking 2 Mechanics for our Stockton, CA location.

The Mechanic is a certified mechanic who is responsible and accountable for providing quality mechanical repairs and maintenance work up to their level of certification utilizing all resources available within the shop area to include other mechanics. The Mechanic will provide on-going preventive maintenance to include all emergency repairs and roadwork necessary. The primary objective of the Mechanic is to provide a safe and qualified shop environment to himself as well as other mechanics while being available to answer questions both to field personnel and supervisors.
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED. Minimum of 18 years of age. At least three years of Fleet Maintenance and repair experience. Strong electrical diagnosis and repair background. Basic knowledge of diagnosis and repair of diesel engines. Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to provide good customer service. Missouri Driver’s License and driving record in compliance with AMR policy regarding insurability. ASC (Automotive Service Excellence) certification.
