Job Description:
Supervise Shipping/Receiving clerks and hourly material handlers. Coordinate all inter-departmental team activities responsible for maintaining facility inventory accuracy including supervising activities in support of the facility cycle counting program. Responsible for maintaining 99% plus warehouse inventory accuracy. Supervise all material movement activities outside the actual production areas except where specific assignments are made. Develop, manage and implement Physical Distribution projects to improve material flow and reduce costs. Complete tasks as required to support production and meet customer and supplier shipping and delivery requirements. Organize and maintain warehouse storage systems to peak performance. Develop, implement and maintain efficient and technologically advanced material delivery systems. Track Physical Distribution activities within the measures and objectives matrix and report monthly.

Proficient in the use of SAP (Power User). Trained in APICS disciplines (certification is preferred). SAP experience. Hourly supervision, warehouse management, receiving and shipping experience

Materials management, material planner, or master scheduler desirable

Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience preferred. APICS Certification desirable, Six-Sigma training desirable.
