Industrial Machinist Special Metals

Industrial Machinist Special Metals Corporation is the World's leading producer of nickel base superalloys. We are seeking to strengthen our team and are looking to recruit high caliber industrial machinists into our company. Responsibilities of the machinist will include machining parts utilizing machine tools (NC and manual) such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, drill presses, boring machines, etc. Certification to the 1st three levels of NIMS (National Institute of Metalworking Skills) is preferred. Fabrication of parts from bench measurements as well as from mechanical drawings will be required. These positions require a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in these areas of responsibility. Technical degrees and documented training is a plus. Written and practical qualification tests will be administered to the successful candidates. These jobs will be affiliated with the United Steelworker's union and pay approximately $18.70/hour plus time &1/2 for all overtime hours. An excellent benefits package is also offered.
