Body Shop Technician

Ft. Bend Toyota Body Shop, an affiliate of Sterling McCall Automotive Group, is adding to their collision repair staff. Candidate must have 2 years of experience with I-Car Certification. Quality repairs and high customer satisfaction are our main goals.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
•Planning repairs by evaluating damage and coordinating repairs with other required services.
•Repair automotive bodies by removing, attaching, and aligning parts; repairing dents; filling and sealing depressions; hammering, shaping, shrinking, expanding, filling, grinding, sanding, and smoothing; applying repair techniques and tools, including cutting torch, hand pneumatic and power tools, grinder, sander, welder, straightener, and etc.
•Maintain quality service by following repair standards.
•Maintain safe work environment by adhering to work standards and practices.
•Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading manufacturers' specifications.
•Enhance organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
REQUIREMENTS
•2 Years Experience and background in bodywork
•Your own tools and strong team skills
•Clean background and driving record
•Dependable and organized
•Factory training is a plus but not required.
