Automotive Technician /Mechanic responsibilities include:Diagnosis, repair and maintenance of vehicles requested by the customer as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
Inspect the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required.Diagnoses and repairs to specifications – brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
Adequately explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers on an as-required basis.
Continuously learns new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.________________________________________Tired of not making enough money? REQUIREMENTS
Automotive Technician / Mechanic requirements:1year as a technician in the automotive industry or equivalent training from automotive trade school or manufacturer.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Possess necessary tools to perform the required tasks.
Excellent Customer Service skills are a must.
