GAINSCO Auto Insurance has an immediate opening for an Auto Damage Appraiser in Phoenix, Arizona. The qualified candidate must be proficient at writing repair estimates, performing inspections and meeting time sensitive service goals. Candidate will be responsible for evaluating and estimating auto collision damage, which will require travel to sites where the damaged vehicles are located.

Responsibilities:

•Develop Arizona preferred shop network
•Review I/A sheets for accuracy
•Work on reconciling salvage at current yards
•Minor travel required to Las Vegas and Reno

Compensation: $38,000.00 to $50,000.00 per year plus car allowance, gas card, cell phone allowance, and company laptop. Excellent benefits package: medical, dental, life insurance, short term and long term disability insurance, 401K, AFLAC, Pre-Paid Legal, Paid Vacation and Holidays.

REQUIREMENTS
Skills Required:

•1 to 2 years experience as an Appraiser
•Excellent organizational skills
•Computer literate
•Willing to travel within the Phoenix Metro area
•Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail
•Ability to work independently
•Strong oral and written communication skills
•Be a self starter and motivated
•Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred
•College Degree or equivalent experience
•Knowledge of current vehicle repair techniques and vehicle evaluation expertise
