POSITION SUMMARY

This position requires someone who is naturally analytical, curious and dynamic, and also possesses the ability to handle new challenges and opportunities with ease.

The Analyst is responsible for end-to-end invoicing of drug manufacturer discounts on behalf of our clients. This is a complex process which begins by being able to read and interpret legal contracts into our custom invoicing system. Once the invoicing system is configured to the contract terms, maintenance is done continually to insure the quality of the invoice. During the quarterly cycle, invoices are analyzed for variances and changes in trends. These variances are then presented to and discussed with internal management and other analysts to satisfaction. Once approved, invoices are then sent to manufacturers along with required data files. As invoice payments arrive the Analyst reconciles to the invoice, clears the A/R, and resolves any discrepancies or issues
The Invoicing Analyst must be able to maintain a harmonious relationship with manufacturer contact at all times. He or she must also be able to handle issues and conflicts with ease.

This position requires the ability to read and interpret new manufacturer contracts and amendments for compatibility with the current systems and processes. Analyst will provide effective and thorough feedback to management regarding these contracts or amendments in a timely manner. Analyst should also be able to recommend any system enhancements or process improvements to reduce costs, minimize processing time, or increase client/manufacturer satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS

* Intermediate to Advanced competency in Microsoft Excel
* Professional written and oral communication skills
* Detail-oriented with proven, strong analytical skills
* Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet strict deadlines
* Conflict resolution/negotiation skills

EDUCATION

BS in Finance, Accounting or Business

EXPERIENCE

Require 6+ years financial analysis experience with increasing complexity. PBM or Rx manufacturer experience preferred, but not required.
