Sales Representative - EFG Transportation Finance

Business Unit: GE Commercial Finance, Capital SolutionsFunction: SalesResponsibilities: * Contacts new, existing or former customers to develop and maintain a profitable portfolio of products and services within the over the road transportation industry. Works with sales manager to develop prospecting plan. Calls on existing or prospective customers within the framework of the business development call program:
Establishes priorities and prepares itineraries.
Meets with customers or prospects to discuss their needs, outline appropriate products and services, and resolves problems as necessary.
Documents calls and results and completes call report. Maintains customer relations by meeting with internal personnel to discuss the customer's needs, problems or complaints. Is primary liaison between customer and any assigned "Core" dealers and GE. Prepare and submit business proposals and credit packages for customers. Negotiate terms and conditions of transactions within defined levels of authority. Responsible for obtaining customer signatures on legal documents. Represents the company in various civic and community functions to further enhance business development activities.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: * Minimum Five years related sales/credit experience. Strong organizational, analytical, administrative and follow up skills. Detail oriented. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Strong PC skills - Excel, Word, CRM, Pricing Tools.Desired: * Experience with Siebel or similar CRM tool and Super Trump or other similar pricing tool. 4 year College degree in Finance or Accounting.
