Regional Expense Manager


Overview:With Operations Team, is responsible for all operational aspects to maximize EBIT (earnings before interest and taxes). Oversees assigned Stores to ensure company policies and procedures are properly implemented and maintained. Manages Stores operating budgets to ensure companys expense goals are achieved.


Key Accountabilities:
Responsible for expense control of all selling and non-selling, profitability analysis and reporting.
Participates in budget development, expense closing and related research. Communicates budget to Store Managers and Management team to include Human Resources, Visual, Maintenance, Receiving, etc.
Tracks expense, productivity and profitability analysis and reporting related to tracking actual performance and weekly/monthly month-end closing.
Works with Scheduling organization to develop weekly plans and schedules to improve service and minimize selling cost.
Manages and monitors Safety Program and Shortage awareness to include training.
Manages all Business Office and Cash Office operations.
Responsible for all areas of compliance to include check compliance, delivery fee, invoice payment, 3rd party write-off, etc.
Assists Gallery Store Operations Generalist in developing budgets for Gallery stores.
May be asked to perform job tasks not specifically related to primary assignments for the success of the business (i.e. inventory, special events, holiday sales, etc.) as requested by management.


Skills Summary:
College degree preferred
Experience in field of operations preferred, knowledge of total store operations preferred
Excellent analytical skills to include experience with budgets, accounting
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
PC proficiency to include Word, Excel
Travel required within assigned region
