Productivity & Inventory Financial Analyst
Business Unit: GE HealthcareFunction: FinanceResponsibilities: * Partnering with operations team to improve business performance. Recommend actions, prioritize existing projects, and identify future opportunity driving productivity with operational partners. * Optimizing inventory on-hand and reserve balances while ensuring accurate inventory accounting. Serving as Finance lead for physical inventory and cycle counting processes.* Driving financial visibility and analyzing financial results for aforementioned areas to review with VP of Service and operational teams. Participating in management and finance reviews. Identifying and reporting key metrics to highlight opportunities and risks. * Leading Ultrasound Service GPRS financial planning, including Growth Playbook (Session I), Session II and OP.* Driving financial integration with operational partners for the Ultrasound Service GPRS realignment.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration and minimum of three years of financial work experience; or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration and minimum of two years Corporate Audit Staff experience; or High School Diploma/GED and minimum of seven years financial work experience* Strong analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change* Clear thinking / problem solving: successfully led projects/process improvement within operations/finance function involving process improvement; able to quickly grasp new ideas* Excellent communication skills: experience working across multiple levels, functions and regions; able to clearly communicate complex financial information in a easy to understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing* Solid PC skills: experience with financial systems/applications (i.e.: Oracle, SAP, COGNOS, Business Objects, etc.), strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation, including pivot tables, Vlookup & Macros* You must be legally authorized to work in the United States* You must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including for example, verification of past employment, criminal history, and educational background* You must be willing to take a drug test* You must be willing to work at our Wauwatosa, WI facilityDesired: * Adaptable/flexible: being open to change (positive or negative) in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations* Integrity: Accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions, and when dealing with others * Basic understanding of financial compliance: SOX, GAAP* Experience working in a matrixed environment* Confidence / Assertiveness: strong influencing skills across business functions; confidence to approach business leaders with difficult messages and defend position; for example, work closely with business leaders to achieve business objectives while driving controllership/GE Values* Trained and/or certified in process improvement methodology such as LEAN or Six Sigma* Experience working in global business environment with sound understanding of global process and transactional flows* Graduate of GE's Financial Management Program (FMP); Corporate Audit Staff (CAS); or graduate of other financial leadership programs * Masters' degree in Business Administration* Previous roles supporting operations teams or service finance experienceGeneral: GE Healthcare provides transformational medical technologies that are shaping a new age of patient care.
