Medical Billing Specialist

Join an innovative medical billing service and practice management company. We are dedicated to provide local medical practices with the latest reimbursement strategies, technology, information and services available to the healthcare industry.

Job Description:
-Data entry
-Post procedures and insurance/patient payments
-Balance to daily deposits
-Follow up utilizing monthly reports
-File appeals
-Establish and maintain strong relationships with providers, clients, patients, and fellow staff
REQUIREMENTS
-Basic computer skills: practice management software, word processing, and spreadsheet applications
-Minimum 40wpm and 10-key by touch
-Medical Manager, Centricity or Groupcast PMS exp. is a plus
-Experience with CPT and ICD-9 codes
-Familiarity with medical terminology
-Excellent Customer Service
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to multi-task and work courteously and respectfully with fellow employees, clients and patients.
