IT Systems Analyst, Oracle Projects (2006-045)

DRS Power & Control Technologies, Inc., is a leading supplier of high-performance power conversion and instrumentation & control systems for the U.S. Navy’s combatant fleet. Products include ship electric propulsion equipment, power electronics equipment, high-performance networks, shipboard control equipment and control panels, tactical displays and specialty reactor plant instrumentation and control equipment. The Division designs, qualifies and manufactures products that help people every day on the ground, sea and in the air.

Responsibilities Of Position:
Lead requirement analysis, design, setup and testing efforts for Oracle Projects, and Project Contracts: Act as primary Projects liaison between users/customer and IT project team; Identify and communicate project risks and recommend solutions. Review/analyze a business environment and work with key users and financial and project managers to identify improvements: Manage expectations and scope; Assist in the creation of user guides, reference manuals, and training materials as appropriate; Train/Support super-users in new business processes as needed. Perform systems analysis, design documentation, testing, Implementation, User Training and support all business applications. Support all formal development and control process to be compliant with SARBOX and corporate policy.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience/Education Required/Sought:
4 - 8 years experience with Oracle Projects preferably in the A/D sector. ABC or Costing Experience. Project Manufacturing experience desired. CPA or MBA desirable. Must be United States citizen.
