Full Charge Bookkeeper

Local progressive real estate/construction firm is seeking Full Charge Book-Keeper/Accountant. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of accounting experience in the real estate/construction industry.

Primary Responsibilities:
•Day-to-day management of A/P, A/R, GL, account reconciliations and Payroll
•Prepare and present timely and accurate consolidated financial statements and reports
•Forecasts short and long-range cash requirements and obligations as a basis for maintaining adequate funds
•Coordinate and manage the annual financial statement audit and tax return preparation with external CPA firm
•Timely preparation of account reconciliations
•Establish and maintain systems and controls which verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data
REQUIREMENTS
Skills Required:

•Bachelors degree in Accounting
•Solid knowledge of US GAAP
•Good communication skills, comfortable presenting complex financial information
•Experience working in Quickbooks Pro Contractors edition.
•Proficient with Excel, Word, and Access
