Financial Analyst, Indirect Global Sourcing
Business Unit: GE HealthcareFunction: FinanceResponsibilities: This role provides financial support for a global team of 42 Indirect Sourcing leaders, acting as an operational manager assisting the General Manager of Indirect Sourcing in the management of more than $2 billion of spend and helping drive $150 million of variable/base productivity. Primary responsibilities include:
Coordination with international sourcing and finance leads in 3 Poles and 22 countries to drive performance and ensure metric compliance through global operating mechanisms
Drive global supplier risk assessment processes to identify and mitigate "At Risk" suppliers before supply issues occur
Monitor indirect commodity trends (fuel, electricity, natural gas, etc) to predict impact and develop potential hedging strategies
Lead cross functional cost out projects between Indirect Sourcing and the P&L finance/operation teams to reduce back office and support costs
Global planning responsibilities for Growth Playbook (3 year plan), SII (yearly planning), and the detailed operational plans for each pole
Strong focus on controllership for all financial interactions with indirect suppliers and internal indirect purchasing/payment processes (e.g. T&L audits, Purchasing Card Audits)
Conduct quarterly ledger ties with Global FP&A team to ensure the flow through of indirect savings into the P&L financials
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Administration and minimum of three years of financial work experience in financial analysis & planning; or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Administration and minimum of two years Corporate Audit Staff experience; or High School Diploma/GED and minimum of ten years financial work experience in financial analysis & planning
Strong analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change
Clear thinking / problem solving: successfully led projects/process improvement within operations/finance function involving process improvement; able to quickly grasp new ideas
Excellent communication skills: experience working across multiple levels, functions and regions; able to clearly communicate complex financial information in a easy to understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing
Solid PC skills: experience with financial systems/applications (i.e.: Oracle, SAP, COGNOS, Business Objects, etc.), strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation (i.e. pivot tables, Vlookup & Macros)

Experience working in global business environment with sound understanding of global process and transactional flows.
