You'll have the opportunity to do the following:High profile opportunity to join Risk Management team in newly created role designed to substantially increase sophistication of commercial loan portfolio management. Critical role, contributing to continued growth and profitability of the bank.Focus on Commercial (C&I) and Commercial Real Estate credit risk exposures across Corporate, Community Banking, Private Banking, Business Banking and Wealth Management divisions.Lead implementation of new processes for information gathering, tracking, analysis and reporting on portfolio composition, performance and trends.Participate as key player in implementation of new commercial loan origination platform, collaborating with Finance and Operations in addition to Commercial LOB.Develop and refine analytical and reporting protocols to evaluate commercial loan portfolio risk and profitability characteristics, including ROA, ROE and RAROC.Participate as key contributing member providing comprehensive periodic reports for Portfolio Risk Review meetings among key senior managers.Contribute to enhancement of Basel-compliant Dual Risk Rating model, and support ongoing risk management initiatives with the goal of maximizing long term profit from the commercial lending business.

REQUIREMENTS
You must possess these minimm background requirements:BA/BS degree required; MBA a plus.Minimum of 3 years of progressive relevant commercial lending, private banking and/or credit risk management experience in a sophisticated regional bank or similar environment; experience in commercial loan portfolio analysis and reporting.Knowledge of commercial credit risk underwriting, loan documentation and administration and portfolio management.Proficiency in use of relevant PC software applications: SQL and other database management systems, Microsoft Office. SAS and/or Microsoft Access a strong plus.Experience with AFS or comparable loan servicing application systems a plus.Strong communication and interpersonal skills a necessity in this dynamic, highly interactive work environment. Must be articulate, self confident, and comfortable in communicating with sophisticated audiences at all levels.
