•Managing and directing the Accounting division of the company
•Keeping the Accounting staff motivated, well-trained, and goal-oriented
•Preparing scheduled reports and statements
•Directing annual audits
•Communicating regarding finances to all levels of the company
•Providing interpretations of Accounting data
•Overseeing the financials that are associated with acquisition of property

REQUIREMENTS
The Controller’s requirements include:
•Possession of a CPA
•A four-year degree in Accounting
•8 years of general Accounting experience
•Public Accounting experience, preferably for about 3 years
• Experience in the Construction field a must!!
•Managerial experience, preferably for about 5 years
•Audit experience
•Having previously worked as a Controller is preferred
•Good communication skills, both written and oral
•Excellent interpersonal skills
•The ability to stay organized and on track in a lively work environment
•A clear understanding of Accounting standards (i.e. FASB)
•An awareness of or definite willingness to learn about Real Estate
•The ability to work in an environment with noise, somewhat uncomfortable temperature, and outdoor irritants
