Our focus is primary care (Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics) with specialists in Cardiology, General Surgery, Neurology, OB/GYN, Orthopaedics, Pulmonology, Urgent Care and Urology. We are recruiting for an experienced, bright, hard working individual with an ability to proactively manage all accounting functions and financial analysis within a growing multi-specialty physician owned practice. Hands-on accrual accounting, financial reporting, strategic planning, leadership and communication skills are required.
Sierra Vista, elevation of 4,625 feet, boasts a spectacular view of the Mule, Dragoon, Whetstone and Huachuca Mountains. The population is more than 40,000 and one of the fastest growing communities in Arizona. Sierra Vista serves as the main commercial, cultural and recreational hub of the area and is located approximately 70 miles southeast of Tucson, Arizona. The town is known for its ideal weather (with an average maximum of 75 and minimum of 50 degrees), with abundant sunshine, high altitude and clean fresh air which add to this picturesque community's livability and comfort. Responsibilities will include:
All finance and accounting functions including management of the GL accounting process, fixed assets, A/P, and collections.
Monthly financial reporting
Primary responsibility for budgeting, cash management, operational analysis.
Administration and development of production-based physician compensation system.
All financial analysis including new sites and ancillary enterprise services.
Coordination with bankers, insurance brokers, real estate brokers, malpractice carrier and other financial institutions.
Provide financial support to all other departments in company including HR, payroll, billing & collections, information technology, and ancillary enterprise services.Requirements:
Bachelors degree in finance or accounting
CPA certification preferredSkills in effectively explaining complex financial information to physicians.
Highly developed Excel skills REQUIRED.Knowledge of Great Plains financial management & accounting system preferred
Knowledge of NextGen electronic practice management system preferred
Medical group experience preferred
Real estate development experience helpful
Payor Contracting experience preferred
Reports to Chief Executive Officer
