Billing & Credit Manager
This position leads the Billing and Credit Department of a major entertainment company customer team and is responsible for managing and reporting the financial operations of the team and will involve direct interaction between Alta Resources and the client consultant leadership.
Responsibilities:
·Directly provides leadership support, coaching, and training to team leads within the program. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
·Prepare reports that summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations.
·Direct preparation of budgets and forecasts with strong emphasis on forecasting.
·Advise management on desirable operational adjustments that improve efficiency and cost reduction.
·Coordinate the month-end and year-end closing process.
·Supervise Billing & Credit including department duties, processes and procedures, and staff. Accounting and Collections within the department, including postage, credit and collections, credit cards, invoicing and inventory control.
·Develop cash flow forecasts and coordinate financial data with multiple stakeholders.
·Responsible for all reconciliations, trial balance, managing the close process, postage reporting and reconciliation.
·Establish and maintain systems and controls which verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data, and enhance the Company’s value.
·Participate in or lead a wide variety of special projects and compile a variety of special reports.
Qualifications:
·Bachelor´s degree from a four-year College or University in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration and 5 – 7 years accounting experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 5 plus years of management experience required.
·To perform this job successfully, an individual must have proven supervisory experience, exceptional communication skills and proficient knowledge of Excel, problem solving and analytical skills.
·The individual must also possess strong financial and business analysis skills as well as a solid background in physical inventory management.
·Ability to participate in a multi-level management structure a plus.
