Benefits and Payroll Services Manager

Our client, a leading provider of financial services, is seeking a Benefits and Payroll Services Manager. This position will collaborate with our HR/Benefit and Compensation Leaders, in order to stay connected with HR strategy, provide guidance and input on changes and/or additions that impact administration. This position requires a broad range of knowledge in employee benefits and payroll administration. This position will also be responsible for administering the Officer level benefits/compensation, Pension/Retiree administration, payroll cycle coordination, payroll tax administration, benefit provider administration, COBRA administration, project support and providing benefit/payroll guidance and support. REQUIREMENTS
Qualified applicants will have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration or related field. Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) and/or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designations are desirable. To a lesser extent, Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and/or Professional in Human Resources (PHR) designation are also desirable. Five years progressively responsible work experience in various HR, Employee Benefits, or Payroll, functional areas to include 3 years successful supervisory experience with demonstrated working knowledge of benefits, payroll and accounting fundamentals. Qualified candidates will have demonstrated leadership skills, with an emphasis on mentoring/developing employees. In addition, demonstrated experience in identifying and implementing significant process/system changes, including system upgrades and experience maintaining Human Resource Information Systems and related Benefits/Payroll applications is desired.
