POSITION SUMMARY:Administers and communicates all employee benefit programs. Interfaces with Insurance carriers, and employees at all levels in the corporation. Is responsible for the enrollment process, premium collection and carrier billing. Processes time sheets and produces pay checks for employees of the Corporation. Must have great customer service skills.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Must be customer service oriented. Administers employee benefit programs; including the enrollment process, maintenance of employee benefits records, and collection of premiums and payment of bills to carriers. Implements the annual open enrollment process, maintains enrollment process for new employees, and assists with the enrollment of employees during mergers and acquisitions. Assists with the implementation and rollout of new benefits plans and programs. Builds and maintains excellent relationships with all internal and external customers; including Accounting. Responds to and resolves employee problems with carriers and advises employees on eligibility and plan provisions, as needed. Communicates with the assigned states employee groups regarding payroll cutoffs, processes, etc. Vendor billing. Receives and codes time sheets and enters data into the payroll system. Calculates retroactive pay adjustments. Verifies information prior to payroll transmission. Processes manual check when necessary. Processes garnishments. Responds to questions, researches discrepancies, and resolves pay problems. Handles Direct Deposits. Verifies information to be transmitted to the bank.

REQUIREMENTS
Travel Percentage: 0%MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent. Two years of professional experience in Benefits and/or Payroll administration. Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and handle broad range of responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to 10-key pad by touch with accuracy. Knowledge of personal computer spreadsheet, word processing and data base software a must. Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and have superb customer service skills.
