Assistant Controller

We have ongoing opportunities for Assistant Controllers on project engagements. Small manufacturing organizations are typically in search of assistant controllers to join their team. The appropriate person must have prior manufacturing experience, as well as, experience in overseeing month-end closings, strong receivables skills, and be able to perform ad-hoc financial reporting for senior management.Requirements:
4+ years of experience as an Assistant Controller/Controller for a manufacturing company. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is required. Master's of Business Administration (MBA) degree, Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred. Working knowledge of forecasting and financial reports. Basic competence in duties and tasks of supervised employees. Ability to work with all levels of staff and management. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow. Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm. Proven leadership and business acumen skills Demonstrated ability to supervise and motivate subordinates. Commitment to excellence and high standards. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics/Great Plains, able to produce reports using Crystal Reports through FRX.
