Accounts Receivable Specialist

Purpose:
WellBound is the first healthcare services company dedicated exclusively to the care of home dialysis patients, including wellness education and training, and the delivery of the full spectrum of home dialysis therapies through specialized regional centers.

We are currently seeking a full-time Accounts Receivable Specialist for our Scottsdale, Arizona office.

The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for monthly billing of peritoneal and home hemodialysis charges, secondary claims, cash posting, new patient verifications and authorizations (intake). Medicare, Medi-Cal and commercial collections. Frequent interactions with dialysis facility staff and some patient contact.

Required Qualifications:
Education Requirements:
High School diploma. Some college courses preferable.
Experience Requirements:
Must be computer literate with electronic claims experience, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiar with Medicare and Medicaid requirements and strong understanding of commercial EOBs. Cash posting experience helpful. Prior experience with Medicare and UB-92 claims highly desirable, dialysis experience a plus.
