Accounts Receivable Representative - CIS

Business Unit: GE HealthcareFunction: FinanceResponsibilities: Collection of Accounts Receivable invoices by working with customers to resolve complex invoicing issues. Involves close work with multiple GE Healthcare divisions such as internal order management, project leaders, sales and service teams to reduce delay of customer payment. Responsible for bringing closure to each invoice, reconciling payment to the invoice and invoice to the purchase order. Research and reconciliation of account variances and including short pays, unapplied payments and credits; submitting refunds as appropriate. Build relationships with internal and external customers with the ultimate goal of complete customer satisfaction.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration and minimum of two years in collections, sales, customer service, telemarketing, or order management or High School Diploma/GED and minimum of seven years in collections, sales, customer service, telemarketing, or order management Strong analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change Solid PC skills: experience with financial systems/applications (i.e.: Oracle, Hyperion, COGNOS, Business Objects, etc.), strong Excel skills including pivot tables & Macros Positive experience working in cross-functional teams and being able to influence those teams. Ability to communicate with all levels and resolve issues in a timely, positive manner. Ability to identify issues that require resolution, take immediate and independent action to ensure that it is resolved successfully. Adaptable/flexible: being open to change (positive or negative) in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations Demonstrated ability to understand detailed documents and act upon that information. Effectively manage and prioritize workload with minimal supervision You must be legally authorized to work in the United States You must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including for example, verification of past employment, criminal history, and educational background You must be willing to take a drug testDesired: GetPaid collections software and Oracle/Siebel/Peoplesoft business software experience Proven ability to organize multiple tasks efficiently Experience interfacing with global teams Trained and/or certified in process improvement methodology such as LEAN or Six SigmaGeneral: GE Healthcare provides transformational medical technologies that are shaping a new age of patient care.
