The AP supervisor is a hands-on working supervisor responsible for activities in the accounts payable function. These include ensuring recording accounting transactions in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles; analyzing invoices for correctness and accuracy; recording invoices into the proper General Ledger Account; auditing expense reports for adherence to Policies and Standard Practices; preparing vendor checks as required to confirm to payment requirements; will serve as the quality assurance check point for the Accounting Specialist positions. The AP supervisor will be responsible for ensuring timely payment of all club reimbursements, travel and expense reports and vendor payments; as well as proper ACH electronic fund processing and manual payments.
REQUIREMENTS
The AP Supervisor will possess:

•Five plus years experience in accounting related activities
•Three plus years in an supervisory role
•General knowledge of accounting information in accordance with GAAP
•Knowledge of payables and General Ledger
•Experience in a PC based accounting system (GPS preferred)
•Formal education in a business related field (Business Administration, or minimum 2 years Accounting preferred)
•Computer literate in Excel, Great Plains Software, Word and other accounting related applications.
