Accounts Payable Specialist

Lucas Group, a National Executive Search Firm in Partnership with the Wall Street Journal, is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator.
This position is responsible for the accounts payable function of the company. Main areas of responsibility include but are not limited to:
Full Cycle Accounts Payable
Opens and disburses incoming mail
Reviews invoices, G/L codes, process invoices and check runs
Ensures timely payment of all invoices, expense reports, vouchers and check requests per departmental policies and processes
Runs various accounts payable reports for review and approval
Vendor inquiries
Prepares invoices
Month end G/L balancing and reporting
REQUIREMENTS
2-4 years full cycle accounts payable experience
High volume experience
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to take initiative and accountability
Strong follow-up and follow-through
Ability to work with internal and external contacts effectively
Ability to adapt to a changing and process driven environment
Proficiency in MS Office products: Excel, Outlook
