Immediate opening for consultant or senior consultant. The position is integrally involved in the implementation and on-going support of our clients’ business management and accounting software systems.

Kianoff & Associates, Inc., We are a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, now celebrating 20 years focused on the support of Microsoft Dynamics GP (formerly Great Plains) and Sage MAS 90, MAS 200 and MAS 500 business management and accounting systems. We also sell and support ABRA, FAS Fixed Assets, Crystal Reports and FRx Financial Report Writer. Our Consulting Services team includes CPAs, accountants, certified trainers and other seasoned professionals with broad experience in information technology, business and accounting. We work with businesses in a broad cross section of industries helping them improve and streamline business processes using the strength and power of mid-market integrated business systems. We are particularly effective in bringing value to companies in the following industry sectors: health care, food/restaurant service, high tech/bio tech, distribution and manufacturing.

A Consultant at L. Kianoff & Associates, Inc is a professional; a solution provider, teacher, problem solver, guide, facilitator and resource. The role is to coach others on how to make better use of technology to sharpen their skills in accounting and business processes. The successful consultant will have the ability to understand and analyze client needs and enjoy the challenge of designing and implementing solutions. A consultant’s responsibilities can touch on all areas of client support, from system implementation and project management to technical support, work flow analysis and report writing. Our consultants are integral partners with our clients for the support and maintenance of their business management and accounting software systems. Consultants are expected to master the areas of responsibility of their core competencies and be open to taking on additional areas as assigned or appropriate. To support L. Kianoff’s goal of promoting our expertise, on-going certifications are required of all consultants.

REQUIREMENTS
1. BA or comparable degree required. Strong consideration for accounting, finance or Information Technology majors.
2. Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting and computer experience related to support of information technology services and/or report writing
3. Effective written and oral communication skills
4. A team player with strong goal orientation
5. Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
6. Ability to work within the appropriate level of independence
7. Ability to assume responsibility for components of projects
8. Ability to problem solve for non-recurring issues
9. Ability to recognize and communicate opportunities to sell “add-on” services to clients
10. Commitment to excellence
11. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
12. Must be proficient in common financial spreadsheet programs as well as integrated financial software systems.
13. Preference given to those with prior Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains) or MAS 90, MAS 200 and/or MAS 500 experience.
