Accounting Manager / Supervisor

Classification: Full Time Compensation: $75,000 to $80,000 per year Leading alternative investment management firm is seeking an Accounting Manager who will be responsible for reviewing and overseeing the accounting and tax reporting for entities as well as be responsible for the accounting, operations and financial reporting. Primary responsibilities will include month end close, supervision of Senior Fund Accountants, review audited financial statements, performing ad-hoc reporting/analysis for portfolio managers and marketing personnel.Manage and review special reporting requirements for institutional investors and preparation/Review of annual GAAP financial statements. Qualified candidates must have a combination of 4+ years of accounting experience, Big 4 experience preferred. Must have a basic understanding of the investment management company business. Familiarity with the GAAP accounting/reporting requirements specific to the investment management industry will be a plus. Outstanding opportunity for growth, benefits and compensation package.
