Accountant - Part-Time

Client is a leading manufacturer of insecticide products located in Madison, WI. Job responsibilities include:

·Ensure accuracy and timeliness of fiscal records and preparation of financial reports for three related corporations and foreign subsidiaries, including GL, fixed assets, and tax packages.
·Ensure financial transactions and records of companies and subsidiaries comply with domestic and international tax law and GAAP.
·Provide interpretation of financial results to guide management decision making
·Perform general accounting functions each month to record business activity in GL and reconcile sub ledger activity to GL
·Accumulate and analyze information necessary to prepare financial statements, financial reports, and tax returns for domestic companies and foreign subsidiaries
·Keep current with domestic and foreign tax laws; make recommendations to management to ensure compliance
·Develop and conduct internal audits on selected activities
REQUIREMENTS
The following requirements must be met to be considered for the position:

·BS - Accounting
·2-5 years related experience in a manufacturing environment
·Exceptional spreadsheet and accounting software skills
·Ability to work 12-25 hours per week; flexible hours
