ANALYST SR. FINANCIAL PLANNING & ANALYSIS

Functional Area: ProfessionalPosition Description: Analyze financial position of US Airways by maintaining and enhancing current forecasting models. Responsibilities include oversight of the following: Financial Forecasting, Airline Profitability Analysis, Fleet & Labor Analysis and Strategic Planning. Additional duties include monthly financial review of business lines preparing in-depth cause & effect analysis on a variety of complex financial issues, competitive industry analysis, analytical modeling and internal consulting.

Education: Masters DegreeExperience: Not IndicatedPosition Requirements: MBA in Finance or Master's degree in other related quantitative discipline
Proficiency in all MS Office applications, especially Excel and Access
Advanced aptitude in problem solving, including the ability to logically structure an appropriate analytical framework
Excellent teamwork skills with proven ability to work effectivley in a variety of situations
Ability to negotiate with excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with all levels of management
Previous analytical experience and knowledge of airline economics preferred
Adaptability & flexibility in the use of analytical approaches pertaining to financial issue
