ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT INFORMATION ANALYST (JOB # 13984)

Perform statistical analysis and data modeling in the following role:
Develop solutions to business unit data management and reporting needs through data analysis, access, extraction, interpretation, report design and production
Perform statistical analysis and data modeling as required by internal and external clients and makes recommendations based on findings
Assist internal and external clients with the interpretation of data and the appropriate uses of data and reporting deliverables
Demonstrate the ability to be creative and innovative in the application of data and information to support strategic direction and tactical planning
REQUIREMENTS
Combine your healthcare data analysis experience with the following skills:
Four year degree in Business, Health Information Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Health Economics, Computer Science or related field with at least six years experience in healthcare data analysis and report design or the equivalent combination of education and experience
Applies business/technical knowledge to financial and health care market analyses
Demonstrates proficiency in data access tools such as SAS, Eztrieve, SQL, MSAccess, SQL Platinum Suite, etc.
Identifies problems, develops solutions and implement a chosen course of action leveraging advanced problem solving skills in a variety of situations
Organizes, plans and prioritizes work within time constraints
Manages complex projects and coordinate activities with all levels of staff
Successfully executes large projects using a formal project management approach
Works responsibly and effectively in a self-directed environment
Excellent communication and presentation development skills; converts technical information into usable and accessible deliverables
Creative ability in the application of data and information to support both strategic direction and tactical planning
Displays a solid understanding of information management - areas of research, analysis and collaboration include: Operational metrics, traditional and managed care product lines, health economics and finance, market structure and delivery systems, risk assessment and management, economic and clinical forecasting, impact/sensitivity analyses, survey development and design, quality improvement/CQI, network disruption, ad hoc requests
