A/R Self Pay Collection Specialist - Mesa

The A/R Self Pay Collection Specialist identifies and collects accounts receivable balances determined to be patient responsibility; liaison between patient and A/R Department.


2 years collection, healthcare of insurance experience. Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial Insurance regulations. Working knowledge of Federal and State regulations relating to medical billing. Working knowledge of Windows-based software applications i.e. Outlook, MS Word and Excel. Solid written communication skills. Superior telephone skills and ability to deal with a wide variety of patient issues. Interpersonal skills. Independent thinker. Positive attitude.
